Hear What Parents Are Saying about Kids at Work

Best music class ever!!!! It's the perfect pace, just the right mix of singing, dancing, and learning new skills. Our toddler loves every single song and makes us sing all of them with him when we get home. He's taken other music classes where doesn't have fun and doesn't learn a thing, so we know from experience that Julie, Keren and the rest of the teachers are really really good! - Anna C.
We've seen our daughter's personality blossom, her vocabulary develop, and her repertoie of skills expand from ballet, to cooking, to art, to soccer, all in the "joyful" learning environment which Julie has created at Kids at Work. - Maria S.
I could not have found a better place for my son than PlayGroup at Kids at Work. When he walks in the door he is happy to be there and I can't tell you how happy that makes me. I have been impressed with the quality of care, diversity of activities, and compassion Julie and her team show the kids. In particular, I want to highlight what a gem the PlayGroup teachers are -- they are high energy, motivated and thoroughly involved. One of the biggest compliments you can give someone is to trust them with your child. Separation has been smooth because the teachers are kind, friendly and always available to answer any questions. Lastly, I appreciate the weekly PlayGroup reports via email along with pictures of our children in action. I could go on and on, but when my son enters his classroom and he and his teachers all squeal with delight when they see each other, well, what's better than that? - Michael K.
Our daughter loves Kids At Work and we do too. We've seen her personality blossom, her vocabulary develop, and her repertoire of skills expand from ballet, to cooking, to art, to soccer, all in the "joyful" learning environment which Julie has created at Kids at Work. - Phil M.
Our son Benjamin has been going to Kids At Work music classes since he was a couple of months old. His face when Julie and Ian start singing and  playing the Welcome song is absolutely priceless. He LOVES the music and the social interaction with other kids, and we definitively have noticed how he has been gaining appreciation for rhythm. Whenever he is cranky at home, we start humming or singing one of the tunes from music class, and he stops and starts smiling ! With their fun, enthusiastic and animated approach to teaching songs and music, Kids at Work manages to capture the attention of everyone during class, including the parents. I have been and will continue to highly recommend their classes to friends and family - Sandra J.
My son has been a part of the toddler playgroup AM session since December. Kids at Work has such compassionate, caring and attentive teachers. The 1:1 attention they give the children really makes the children feel comfortable, encourages their confidence while also fostering the group dynamic by knowing what is special about each child and how they connect with one another.  From the minute you walk in, you know Kids at Work is special and different. The morning set up is similar to a preschool class, with careful attention given to the different stations for the children to choose from, with something for everyone. I was looking for a program that would offer the same type of nurturing, playful and loving environment as some of the best pre-schools, and found that at Kids at Work. I can't say enough good things! - Camilla J.
Kids at Work just performed at my 2 year olds  birthday party.  They managed to keep the little kids  engaged without losing the attention of our 5 year old  and his friends. Everyone loved the instruments, and even the adults were dancing! - Keith S.
When my son aged up, we enrolled him in the Play Group. In the year that he spent in the Play Group, he learned so much! Not only did he gain independence and separate, but he came home with stories to tell and songs to sing. My son was always so excited to go to class. He spoke about his teachers all the time at home. I know that my son is ready for full time preschool thanks to KAW Play Group! - Kyla B.
We are a loyal KAW family! My son started there with the drop-in Messy Art classes taught by Julie. From day one, we fell in love with KAW, it's programs and the staff. With Messy Art, I loved how Julie let the kids "be kids" and let them freely create their masterpieces. I was always amazed at how calm and patient she was. And true to it's name, the class is messy. But, that's what makes it fun for the kids! They get to explore textures, colors, paint, glitter, etc. all while letting their creative juices run wild. - Amelia K.
Jam Sessions is an amazing music class for babies. As a veteran mommy whose tried lots of different baby classes, I've been so impressed by how well Julie understands babies and what motivates them to listen and participate. My daughter is enraptured by Julie's beautiful voice and Ian's soulful accompaniment every class, and really enjoys the simple rhymes and movements that go perfectly with the music. I love the emphasis on beautiful music over entertainment - very hard to come in Manhattan by despite the plethora of baby music programs. - Barbara M.
