Preschool Preparation Gentle Separation Program
Toddlers & Twos Program
18 months-2.6 years at entry point
Kids at Work’s Gentle Separation Program can help children prepare for preschool or other social settings where their trusted adult may not be present. This is the only program at Kids at Work that is not a drop-in, as it is a semester-long enrolled program with the same children for 2 hours, twice per week.

Kids Cooking Class

2-5 Years
These kids cooking classes in NYC are ‘hands-on’ – we work with children on chopping, mixing, combining, and introduce kitchen tools like whisk, spatula, blender, and mixer!All cooking projects are made 100% from scratch by the children. Generally, we alternate savory and sweet recipes!
Creation Station Dance
Ballet & Tap Dance Class
2-5 years
At this age, dance should be about learning to nurture creativity in movement. Developing coordination and promoting self-esteem, combined with learning basic positions and terminology, are the building blocks of our wildly creative dance curriculum.
Soccer Stars
Toddler Soccer Class
12 – 26 months or 2 – 3 years
Super Soccer Stars class format is developed to give our budding soccer stars a familiar framework in which they can build gross motor skills to excel from class to class.
Jam Sessions Toddlers
Music Class
12 mos – 4 years
Jam Sessions Toddlers contains songs that are built around interesting, age-appropriate storytelling and dramatic movement. We believe that very young children are capable of being engaged in musical activities that are sometimes quiet, always intimate, and never over-stimulating.

Foster a deep sense of connection and trust with your child with RIE/Pikler inspired parenting classes in NYC. Learn to practice mindful and respectful parenting in this parent child group in NYC.
Mess it Up
Toddler Art Class
18 months-3 years
Mess it Up is more than just an art class for toddlers. We combine sensory play, science concepts, and messy process-oriented art to give your child a hands-on experience. This class will develop independence, decision-making skills, and creativity.
Toddle Around
Sensory Art & Music
12 mos – 2.5 Years
Toddle Around is one of the Kids at Work standard classes. This class is a sensory art and music combination. Class starts with giving the children options to explore with different sensory art stations. About halfway through the class it turns into a music class with our Kids at Work musicians.
Global Grooves
World Music Class
1-4 Years
Global Grooves classes take little ones on a journey all over the world, and on this adventure we learn songs in different languages from different cultures in an engaging interactive manner. Sagit Shir is a multi-instrumentalist and frequently brings interesting and exotic percussion instruments to class, depending on the week. Children also have the opportunity to play child-safe, sanitized instruments during this program. It’s never too early to introduce your child to world music!
Sun Sessions in Madison Square Park
Outdoor Music Classes (May – October only)
6 months – 4 Years
Our teacher will greet you and your child under a shady tree! We will bring everything – instruments, parachute, bubbles, and of course guitar! For music classes we recommend bringing a blanket to sit on.
