Sun Sessions Babies
0-13 months
Two teachers will greet you and your child under
a shady tree in the park for music with guitar,
child-safe percussion instruments, and
imaginative 'storysongs.' There is also a babies
only class on Thursdays at 11:30am in
Washington Square Park.
Sun Sessions are DROP-IN classes! Come
whenever you want, wherever you want. AND,
purchase class packs and enjoy a discount.
Reservations are necessary to guarantee there
is space for your child. Use your package at
ANY Sun Sessions location, ANY day, ANY
age-appropriate time!

What if the class I want says "FULL?"
Occasionally we stop accepting additional
pack-holders in a given class. This is to limit
overcrowding in our classes. There may still be
room for your child for an individual drop-in, OR
the class may open up partway through the
semester. Please inquire. If you've already
purchased a package for a class marked full,
there will most likely be room for your child in
class.
Tuition Summer 2011:
Drop-in or Pay-per-class: $30 (no discounts)
5 Class Pack: $28 per class
8 Class Pack: $25 per class
10 Class Pack: $22 per class
(tuition is the same for babies and mixed-ages
class for Sun Sessions only)
Important Info for Summer 2011:
Siblings under 11 months may come to Sun
Sessions for FREE with a registered sibling!
Reservations are necessary for Sun Sessions in
order to guarantee your spot. Classes will not
contain more than 14 children.
Important to know: With the exception of babies
12 months and under, Sun Sessions class
packs are NOT usable at Summer 2011 classes
at the Kids at Work studio on 27th St. You
should register your child separately for the
indoor Drop-in programs.
What if it rains or is very hot?
Classes are canceled in the event of rain at the
discretion of Kids at Work. Classes are never
canceled due to heat. All classes are held in
the shade. There is no 'rain location.' Special
week of rain make-ups run the last week of the
summer semester (August 22 - 26). Rain
make-ups are scheduled according to how many
classes were canceled at a particular location.
This means there may be no class during the
12th week of the summer (if it did not rain), or
there may be 2-3 classes if it rained 2-3 times.
Rain make-ups may be scheduled at a different
time or day of the week than the regular class
meeting time. There are no refunds for rained
out classes, so please plan your package size
accordingly. If you are out of town from August
22 - 26, we recommend committing to a smaller
package. Remember, you may use your
package at ANY location, ANY day, ANY time
within the Sun Sessions program. Click here for
