Jam Sessions are the indoor version of Kids at
Work's popular summer program, Sun
Sessions, which takes place in Riverside Park.

Pricing for UWS Jam Sessions:
-$20 per child per 40 minute class
-Length/dates of semester to be determined by
your group! (8 week minimum)
-Groups can contain between 4 and 6 children
accompanied by caregivers, between the ages
of 8 months-4 years.

MusicPlay
Ages 2.5 - 5 years

MusicPlay is designed for curious, hands-on,
inventive children who love music. Perhaps
you've considered private lessons for your
child, but are unsure whether or not they will be
age-appropriate? MusicPlay bridges the gap
between group Mommy and Me classes and
structured private lessons.
During a MusicPlay class your child will enter a
room containing several musical exploration
centers - one center may contain various flutes
and autoharp, another a variety of percussion
instruments, one a piano, and one a movement
mat along with a cd player. Children will be
guided by the teacher through each station and
a variety of activities designed to develop the
musical aptitude of your child while having lots
of loud, noisy fun! MusicPlay classes can
contain between 1 and 4 children of similar
ages, and last between 30 and 45 minutes.
These classes are perfect for siblings and
playdates!

Piano Games are not your ordinary piano
lessons! Piano Games are designed for the
youngest pianists, and involve a whole-child
approach to beginning musical training. Piano
Games are a series of activities using dramatic
play, movement, storytelling, and sensory
exploration to teach basic piano technique,
music-reading, and simple musical
composition. Piano Games also develop
confidence and independence as children are
allowed to learn at their own pace, under the
care of an experienced and sensitive
master-teacher. Our piano teacher has over 10
years of experience coaching young children.
Piano Games classes can contain between 1
and 3 children of similar ages. Perfect for
siblings!
